EdCamp is a conference type thing where people get together and share about the knowledge they have that applies to the main topic. For example one on teaching.

Rules: don’t pay for keynotes, don’t pay to attend, open to everyone who is wanting to learning

What is an EdCamp?

Topics get posted on a board open to everyone one, people vote on what they want camps to be about and then get to choose what they want to learn.

Allows everyone in education to contribute to learn and grow with their passions in education. It’s a way that every type of educational job can communicate.

Hosts topics in: Tech in class, aboriginal education, assessment and more.
